Have you ever heard someone say " I had a calling from God ".
 
Ever wonder why the holy spirit wants us to know more about God, attend bible studies, or  serve at church?

 I believe that God talks to us through our spirit, being that our spirit is what connects us to God.

I also believe that we had a calling or word that was spoken over us even before we were born.

 John 3:6  Jesus say's "what is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the spirit is spirit" .So does that make us spirits?

 The Bible dictionary defines spirit as : a term used in the bible describing a spiritual being ,I believe Christians are spiritual beings and are spirits.

The bible also says that God won't give us more then he knows we can handle so with that said  I believe that God prompts the holy spirit to get us doing things like reading the bible and taking bible courses only to prepare us for " that calling that will eventuality come".

What do we do when God finally says " I want you to do this." .... well you'll  Know that it really is God talking to you because you should now be ready to Step up to the calling and fulfill Gods will and purpose for your life.

I believe I have not yet got my calling but I know it's coming due to the interest I have in learning more and more about My heavenly Father, His life and His word.
